Prerelease review of EFC Bk 16 Blink With A Capital O

A great addition to the EFC family and a promising debut for first time author
Blink with a Capital O took me by surprise. There's alot going on in this book: Family drama, action, mystery all set in a post apocalyptic back drop. In the hands of a lesser talented writer this would have been a jumbled mess but here the author balances all these things with expert precision.
A story of a young woman struggling with coming to terms to claim her birthright. Our heroine Blink doesn't see herself as worthy for the mantle she's in line to take from her mother, after certain events transpire it leads Blink on an path of adventure and enlightenment. There are flashbacks that fill in blanks about Blink's past that are expertly interwoven throughout the story as it adds to the character's present journey that flows smoothly with the rest of the tale.
This was a great read and a fun new chapter for the Earth's Final Chapter series. Also an impressive debut for the author. Hopefully there's more Blink stories in the future!
